Since its inception in May 1972, Nike has maintained a firm grip on the sportswear world, leading the charge when it comes to sneakers, apparel, team gear and more. As The Swoosh prepares for the next 50 years in business, its focus remains on satisfying athletes of all shapes and sizes while simultaneously using the power of technology and innovation to push the boundaries of fitness culture. and sports.

Any athlete or Nike enthusiast will tell you that “if you have a body, you’re an athlete,” and the brand’s latest initiative puts those words into action. In May, they launched a new maternity program in the Nike Training Club (NTC) app called “(M)ove like a Mother.”

This flexible 48-week program is unlike anything we’ve seen before and is designed specifically to support all moms through every stage of pregnancy. The routines are designed for women of all strength levels. The program features all-new workouts and additional content in the NTC app to help them feel stronger and prioritize health and movement from early pregnancy through postpartum and beyond.

All exercises were reviewed by a panel of women specializing in pre and postnatal movement, including a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist and a pelvic health physiotherapist.

Serena Williams, Lisa Leslie, Brandi Chastain are all Nike athletes and mothers, and over time they have helped the company adhere to its mission to redefine sport for the next generation.

Workouts include HIIT, bodyweight, yoga, stretching and more – and they can all be done from the comfort of home. Before you begin, be sure to download the Nike Training Club app. We’ve also paired up some Nike maternity clothes, some on sale, to make exercising while pregnant as comfortable as possible.
