A new CEO has been appointed at an independent health club in the South West. Mark Johns has now taken over the management of the award-winning Cadbury House club and spa in Congresbury, North Somerset.
With extensive experience in the health and wellness club industry, Mark joins the popular DW Fitness First club in Bath. Previously, he oversaw the management of the Ledbury Leisure Center and swimming pool on behalf of the Halo Leisure Trust.
Working as an area manager for the David Lloyd group for five years, Mark was also in charge of the group’s Long Ashton site in Bristol during its £ 2.5million renovation.
Commenting on his appointment, Mark said: âthe club at Cadbury House arguably has one of the best reputations in all of the South West and attracts members from a very wide geographic area. It’s also quite unique in that it’s very rare to have an independent club like this that has such a high and premium level of facilities.
