A Texas-sized athletics club is set to open this fall in McKinney, featuring 12 lighted pickleball courts, six communal fitness studios and a 50-meter Olympic-size swimming pool.
Life Time McKinney at Craig Ranch, located near the PGA TPC Craig Ranch golf course and only a few miles from Life Time’s Plano and Allen locations, is the 12th DFW location and one of 29 statewide.
Its gym will include hundreds of pieces of equipment for cardiovascular and strength training and unlimited access to Life Time’s group training classes. These classes offer progressive programming, a supportive community and coaching guidance, according to a press release.
Other fitness classes include yoga, Pilates, cycling, barre and additional formats such as Barbell Strength and Warrior Sculpt.
“We are thrilled with the community we are joining and welcoming members this fall,” Jeff Mangan, the club’s general manager, said in the press release. “Our outdoor pool, expansive exercise room, executive locker rooms and pickleball courts set us apart for helping people live happy, healthy lives.”
The club will also have a cafe with indoor and outdoor seating, an outdoor fire pit with surrounding televisions, a spa with esthetician and massage services, and a recovery area with compression and massage services. chiropractic, according to the press release. Children will have their own space with studio lessons, art, music, Spanish immersion and homework help.
Other amenities include hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, and free shampoos, conditioners, body washes, lotions, and mouthwashes.
