New Delhi, August 22 (IANSlife): Bollywood celebrity Mira Rajput Kapoor is a well-known yoga enthusiast. However, in addition to yoga, she enjoys doing different workouts to stay healthy.
âApart from yoga, I enjoy different forms of high intensity training like strength training, cardio workouts and I also like to try new forms of fitness that help me maintain an active lifestyle,â said Kapoor at IANSlife in an interview.
Kapoor also says that she turned to yoga because she realized that yoga helps her listen to her body and makes her feel connected and in tune with herself.
Q: When asked to name one thing that is underrated for staying healthy,
A: The fitness icon says, âOne thing that is underestimated about staying healthy, in my opinion, is the importance of good nutrition and good exercise. “
“People often neglect their diet and put all the strain on exercise. While your fitness is 70 percent what you eat and 30 percent physical activity.”
Q: Likewise, is there anything that is overrated to stay healthy?
âOne thing that seems overestimated to me is the number of hours of training you do. The number doesn’t matter as long as you are doing the right training and are consistent with the practice,â says Kapoor.
