THE owners of a Scoresby Health Club have made a big statement: They want to help 10,000 Knox residents get back into shape by 2020.
Pinnacle Health Club Scoresby recently had a $ 300,000 overhaul under owners Emma and Ben Stallworthy.
Individuals who enroll in the center with a results-based membership can get personalized coaching, educational workshops, empowerment measures, small group and team strength training and cardio sessions; and access to paramedical and generalist support networks, including partner psychologists.
The couple want 10,000 Knox residents to meet at least the recommended physical activity guidelines by December 2020.
The couple have traveled across Europe, America and Australia, attending leading exhibitions and seminars and learning from the experts.
Ben said their model was based “on accountability for results, both the member’s responsibility and ours”.
âWe focus on ‘real’ people and sustainable lifestyle choices, not fancy or expensive gym workouts,â he said. “It’s not a fad, it’s a lifelong approach to weight loss and health.”
Emma said: “Our generation has the potential to make a difference and we will do all we can to build a stronger and healthier town of Knox.”
