In September, the St. James Sports Complex in Springfield will finally open its doors. Its founders, Kendrick ashton and Craig dixon, recently announced a partnership with MedStar Health that will make the giant multi-use facility even more insane, turning it into a one-stop-shop for health enthusiasts seeking recovery if they injure themselves on, say, a golf simulator or squash search.

The MedStar Health partnership will bring services including primary care, physiotherapy and sports medicine to the 450,000 square foot complex and will be fully operational by early 2019. “MedStar will have access to the entire complex, and they will have their own space, which we are designing as we speak, ”says Ashton. “They will take advantage of the entire complex to provide state-of-the-art services on the rehabilitation, recovery and injury prevention front.”
